-If it's convenient and possible, ride a bike instead of driving. Less pollution.

These are just a list of a few things, but here is a site that can give you tons of ways and will be better at describing them, then myself. (= Thank you!

All About Me
My name is Kari and I am 21 years old. I'm a very outgoing kind of girl and I love meet new peoples.
I strive to please everyone because I've always been a people pleaser. I want people to appreciate themselves for who they are. Everyone is special and deserves every bit of happiness they can get.
My main goal in life is to show people how much God loves them and to prove to them of his love. He is there for you no matter where you are, what your skin color or views are. God has a plan for you and he wants you to see what he has in store for you.
People have a hard time coming to terms with religion and I will probably get criticized for this on my youtube channel but you know, Jesus says that if you deny him in front of others, he will deny you in front of his father.
My blog isn't all about God, but it comes from within me and he is most defiantly there so If I can help someone get through something, give them encouragement and feel like they have a friend no matter what, I have to say that he would be a reason for that too.
Blogging can be such a great way to express yourself and to be heard. I think that everyone has something they can offer to the world, whether it be ideas, creations or maybe just a laugh for someone who is having a bad day.
I know that it's hard to throw yourself out there to the world, but I promise you that someone is going to love what you have to say, I know I will. I would love to see you on my youtube channel, maybe you could post a video and attach it to my channel in response to anything I have said. I would love to know if I have made a difference in someones life and to know that I'm being heard just as much as someone else.
I honestly believe that once you come into the world, that you have a great journey ahead of you. There are going to be good and bad times, but no matter what, it will get better and better. You have to strive for it, you have to want it and you have to own it. You can let people drag you down..9 times out of 10 its over jealousy. If people would open their eyes, we would realize just how much alike we all are.
Racism is a very bad and negative thing. It doesn't matter what skin color you are, what you have or what you dont have and it doesn't matter if you are rich or poor. We all came from the same place, in a sense, and we are all living on the same planet earth. I hate seeing someone hurt over what another person negativity brings on. It's defiantly hard to get over when someone hurts your feelings..but when people say hurtful things to someone, its because they have their own bad things happen to them, and to get it out of there life, or to feel like it can go away, they are mean to other people.
Don't copy other people, don't be a follower, be a leader. Show and help other people how to live a happy and wonderful life. Know that God is with you and you can talk to him about anything. You can be an inspiration to anyone and everyone. Strive to help others, show a kind and lending hand, and be what other people should be..AMAZING.
I am so proud of you
ReplyDeleteI know for a fact that my friend is very much of the notion that the period we are going through is anything but natural global climate change. He says its the same as it has happened for some thousands of years already.
ReplyDeleteBut with the same logic that he presents me, I need to look at it at the level of impact that a largely expanding and hugely land-changing "species" (the human race) has on its environment. Sure there have been Super-Volcano eruptions, the impact of giant comets, solar-flares, ice ages, the reversal of the magnetic poles, world-scale earthquakes, global floods (duh, ask Noah) and so on and so on. Truly cataclysmic events may have befallen Gods planet, one way or another.
ReplyDeleteAnd so we should think about the true essence of good change in the world, and how it starts within us and our connection to God. If you want to know how to truly tend for your home, where and what areas of your building you need to keep more after than others; then you should ask the engineer (God) and the builder (God). Then you might want to consult the blueprints (Bible) and think carefully why God, who allowed all these massive catastrophes to happen in the past, the present, and the future of this world.
ReplyDeletePeople might ask me why God allows bad people to do evil and bad things to happen. And I answer because he loves us. This perplexes them of course and I need to think of my students in Karate, some of which might not take Karate as seriously as they should, or work as hard as they should, especially at home.
ReplyDeleteI realize that today I was sweating more, and feeling more bust than they did. I of course knew better than they did in the sense of how much incredible hard work it is to get to the black belt.
ReplyDeleteIt took me closer to 9 years to get there, and it never once was easy. Instead it became harder and harder. I knew I needed an entire year to prepare for my black-belt test, and I worked my heart out training late into the night.
When it then came time, I busted out every move as if it where my last. My father to this day said that he thought I was going to have a stroke, and he was a registered nurse once!
ReplyDeleteI literally passed out as soon as my test was over and rested the following Sunday not so much as leaving my bed.
Perhaps I had realized the limits of the human body when trying to use every bit of what God has given you to a single purpose. And lying there I thought of Genesis, of the unfathomably insurmountable work that God brought into existence in what we humans could only understand as seven days. Maybe to God it was seven days, maybe to us it is more like billions of years.
ReplyDeleteBut I digress finally. I realized that the God that created me knows only best to tell us it takes great work within the hearts and souls he gave us to help us, and to compel us to do good. He knows we all have the potential to do good, he loves us therefore, but just as he knows he cannot make us do so against our will, so did I realize that I could not make my Karate students do good for their Karate training by going home and working on correcting their own mistakes.
ReplyDeleteWhy should I work my butt off to push my students if (some of them) consciously decide not to work hard despite all I have told them at great length?
ReplyDeleteSo why should God have to break a sweat trying to compel his children to do what is right? They wont listen, some wont even acknowledge that he exists?
What child could say to a parent that has always been there for them, "I don't know you."?
And worse yet, those who say that God was never there for them are blinding themselves from the truth. If you are alive, and if you are capable enough to go forth and change things in your own life, then God is able to help lift you up.
ReplyDeleteGod is not the one that sends rays of sunshine down on those who feel very Christian only at Christmas time; when they go to Church once a year.
God is not the one that creates positive change in someones life who doesn't think twice about treating others poorly.
ReplyDeleteGod only helps those who help themselves because he CANNOT make you change if you don't make the conscious decision to change. And that means relinquishing your worldly ideas and concepts to the extend that you are open to the true wisdom that lies within the soul. The kind of wisdom your brain cannot even comprehend and properly manage, you know when your soul is driving you because you are doing the kind of incredible things that leave you with a gasping glance and a sudden laugh. But it is this soul whose hand is taken by God, in the form of Jesus Christ our One True Lord.
Isn't it true that God send his only son to die in this world because he loved us all THAT much? We mourn those we love and have lost, yes, but dare we accuse God of great tragedy and evil when his own son befell great tragedy and evil not at the hands of an earthquake or any natural disaster.. But through human hands?
ReplyDeleteTo be rightfully selfish means to be selfless. That means you only invest in yourself in order to better yourself for others. You are only as important perhaps as you can make yourself for others. To be this kind of person, driven ahead, bravely and with unrelenting kindness in your heart, because, for, and with God (JESUS).
ReplyDeleteYou will realize, through him, that you are now bringing this world closer to the kind of paradise that God first made it to be.
Amen.
Amen David, that's very insightful man.
